Milan Design Week: A Global Design Stage
Milan Design Week is widely recognized as one of the world’s most prestigious design events. Every year, it attracts leading designers, brands, and buyers from around the globe, serving as a barometer for emerging trends and innovations in bathroom and interior design. Participating in this event positions Salvere alongside top-tier brands and provides our partners with a direct view of our design capabilities.
Salvere’s Exhibition in Brera Design District
Our booth was located in the Brera Design District, one of the most influential areas during Milan Design Week, where many well-known bathroom and design brands also presented their latest ideas.
For Salvere, this was not just a product display, but a spatial expression of our exhibition theme, “The Healing Theater.” The concept was built around light, water, scent, and bodily perception, creating a calm and immersive atmosphere that invited visitors to slow down, stay longer, and experience the space emotionally rather than simply viewing products.
In this setting, The Spirit of Bamboo and The Flow became the two key design pieces that best expressed our theme.
New Product Designs
a. The Spirit of Bamboo
The Spirit of Bamboo is a freestanding bathtub inspired by the rhythm of bamboo. The name itself carries the meaning of a “node” or “joint,” echoing the bamboo structure and giving the product a refined, European design tone. Its design transforms the repeated rhythm found in nature into a quiet, physical experience.
The feeling we wanted to convey was simple: when the water is just right, the body relaxes before the mind does. Through this product, we hoped to express a more natural and grounded kind of calm, where the body can gradually settle and return to a peaceful state.
b. The Flow
The Flow is our illuminated bathtub, inspired by the image of fabric gently falling and a skirt unfolding. Its soft, sculptural lines create a sense of lightness and enclosure at the same time. With integrated lighting, the bathtub appears almost suspended, allowing form and light to work together to create a quiet and poetic presence.
More than a functional bathtub, The Flow was designed as an immersive object — something between sculpture and bathing space — expressing stillness, softness, and a slower sense of time.
Together, The Spirit of Bamboo and The Flow gave visitors two different interpretations of healing through design. One draws from the quiet rhythm of nature, while the other explores softness, light, and emotional atmosphere.
They also became the focal points of our booth, attracting many visitors to stop, ask questions, and start conversations with us.
Visitor Engagement: Attracting Attention Through Design
During the exhibition, many visitors were naturally drawn to our booth by the unique and innovative shapes of our new bathtubs. The distinctive silhouettes encouraged in-depth conversations, with clients and designers asking about customization options, materials, and design inspiration.
This interaction highlighted that Salvere’s approach not only delivers visually compelling products but also creates opportunities for meaningful business dialogue.
